Something remarkable is coming to Ijebu Central.
Following the successful distribution of over 2,000 school items in 2024 and the impactful Ranmileru Programme last year, the BHO Foundation is set to raise the bar once again with this year’s edition of its Back to School programme.
Themed YAYI Back to School 2.0, the initiative is designed to complement the educational intervention efforts of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) within the Ijebu Central Federal Constituency. The programme aims to relieve the financial burden on families, boost classroom engagement, reduce the number of out-of-school children, and invest directly in the human capital of the next generation.
Under YAYI Back to School 2.0, more than 5,000 pupils across Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu, and Ijebu North-East will receive school bags, uniforms, textbooks, writing supplies, and mathematical sets. In addition, over 100 students will be awarded bursaries and scholarships to support the payment of their school fees for the upcoming academic year.
