Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), John Odigie-Oyegun, suffered a gaffe at the party’s National Convention at the Rainbow Centre in Abuja.
Nigeria Political Prism reports that a video making the rounds online shows the moment the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) mistakenly shouted ‘APC’ while on the podium.
Immediately Oyegun released his mistake, he said, “I think I need to drink something strong to take that out of my system.”
The slip of tongue, which occurred during Oyegun’s address, briefly stirred reactions from delegates present as they burst into laughter.
