The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress Youth League (APCYL) has cautioned members of the party against making derogatory statements that could hinder the ongoing reconciliation process within the party.
In a statement signed by the State Coordinator, Engr. Ayobami Dagilogbe, and released by the Publicity Secretary, Hon. Akanni Muhammed, the Youth League emphasized the importance of discipline, unity, and adherence to the party’s constitution in resolving internal issues.
The statement noted that matters relating to anti-party activities or misconduct by members are within the jurisdiction of the party leadership and should be addressed in line with the constitutional provisions of the APC.
The Youth League further appealed to members to remain calm, focused, and committed to the collective progress of the party, stressing that divisive comments or actions could jeopardize the unity and strength of the APC in Oyo State.
The group reaffirmed its support for the leadership of the party and expressed confidence that the reconciliation process will restore cohesion and strengthen the APC ahead of future political engagements.
